About Us
History
Tiny Box Company began in 2007 with CEO and founder Rachel Watkyn’s search for recycled packaging for her range of ethical and fair trade jewellery. After months of research, she found that there was an extremely high demand for this kind of packaging and no one to meet it, so she decided to start up a packaging company with a difference - and Tiny Box Company was born. Tiny Box then acquired successful investment through Dragons’ Den, and both Dragons - Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis - are still active shareholders.
In 2016, Tiny Box Company bought a factory in Redruth, Cornwall, previously known as The Box Office. The key staff from the factory were employed to ensure the outstanding knowledge base was maintained and low and behold, Tiny Box Maker was born! Tiny Box Maker produces beautiful handmade boxes for a diverse range of global brands and UK businesses. We offer a wide range of fully sustainable options and no minimum orders - delivering a complete branded package from start-up businesses to larger corporate companies.

Design
At Tiny Box Maker, we believe that design is key to the success of each box, no matter how simple or complex the process. With every enquiry we receive, we evaluate all options available within the production process and listen carefully to our client’s requirements. Bespoke reflects exclusivity, individuality, luxury, and originality - we work hand in hand with each client to design and present a truly unique presentation box that will highlight and add value to their brand. We are currently pushing boundaries on design and researching new trends in the market, always staying ahead to offer the most up-to-date service, whilst always maintaining our commitment to providing handmade, sustainable packaging solutions.

Manufacture
Our manufacturing processes involves a combination of handmade techniques by a highly experienced team, whilst incorporating modern state-of-the-art box manufacturing processes. With the capacity for thousands of units, we can accommodate your needs, from global product launches, to only one box for special events, and more. Having a robust production system in place allows us to manage the quality of every single box in our factory and deliver it in a time frame that meets your expectations, offering realistic targets and honest advice.
Our Cornwall factory operates a comprehensive production plan and stringent quality control procedures, so you know you're receiving British made, quality products. Tiny Box Maker is one of just a handful of rigid box making factories left in the UK, with an experienced team to help you every step of the way in creating your custom packaging.
Bespoke
At Tiny Box Maker we pride ourselves in making luxury bespoke boxes tailored to you and your brand. We love nothing more than helping our customers create the perfect packaging for their business, with an experienced team to navigate you through the process and deliver beautiful boxes. All of our boxes are made in the UK which means our lead times are usually around 3-4 weeks, and we offer a wide range of sustainable options with the ability to run small and large volume quantities. We can also design inserts for boxes to make them truly bespoke, and can combine print, embossing/debossing to reflect brand logos and product specific messages.
Six machines are required regardless of the quantity of boxes, meaning the initial set-up cost will be the same whether you're ordering 1 or 1,000 so please remember to factor this into your budget. We aim to respond to all quote requests within 24 hours of receiving them and welcome calls to discuss your project, and if you're local, please feel free to call in and see the factory and what we do first-hand. Semi-Bespoke
Tiny Box Maker also offers semi-bespoke boxes, where you can find a selection of gift boxes, accessory boxes, and stationery boxes in a range of 12 colours and three depths, starting from 17mm - the perfect size for posting. Choose from classic black, white, and greys, or more colourful options including dark green, blueberry, yellow, orange, cherry, prussian blue, paris blue, and maroon. There is no minimum order quantity for our plain stock - these are still handmade to order in the factory, but have a faster turnaround time of 7-10 days.
We can also personalise these gift boxes with different branding options available from Tiny Box Maker - for example by adding foiled logos. These have a small minimum order quantity - please get in touch if you would like a quote on adding these to your boxes. Please note - all measurements on our website are internal.

Sustainable Luxury
Eco-Friendly
Sustainability is key to everything we do at Tiny Box Maker - for example, our boards range from 70% recycled paper pulp to FSC approved board, and we only use vegan cold glue in production. Our boxes are manufactured and shipped from within the UK, and with 80% of our processes being manual as opposed to automated, we have a very low carbon footprint.

Quality
Our Cornwall factory operates stringent quality control procedures, to ensure you get your presentation boxes or corporate gift boxes as you want them, on time. Being solution-focused, we work within all budgets and cash flows, maintaining honesty, competitive pricing and reliable delivery, all while making bespoke boxes of the highest quality.
We can do regular deliveries of quantities with adjustments to accommodate your storage space and your sales, and we’re able to run small trials with full sampling capacity to test with your products to make sure the box is just right for you.
