A box and lid, also known as a lid and base box, comes as two separate pieces and can be used for all sorts of products, including:
- Gifts like candles, cosmetics, beauty products, photos, clothing, accessories, and more
- For presenting jewellery, such as rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and watches
One-piece Clamshell Box
A simple one-piece box that opens like a book.
A clamshell box features a lid that is attached to the base, and can be used for:
- Storing postcards, photographs, documents, and other stationery items
- Sending out samples kits of your products to potential clients and customers
Tray and Slip Case
A slip case and drawer, which has a thumb cut or ribbon tab for easy opening.
A tray and slip case comes as two separate pieces - with the tray/drawers ideal for:
- Small trays can be used for delicate items like jewellery and accessories
- Larger boxes can be used to store magazines, documents, brochures, leaflets, and any other loose paper that needs organising, for example in a busy office setting

Slip Case
A slip case is a five-sided box that is open at one end. It provides a protective covering for the products inside - from boxes, to books, textbooks, and photo albums, and gives them a more premium look.
Hinged Lid Box
A flush base and lid joined together on one hinged edge.
Our hinged boxes come with or without an additional inner piece, with uses for both including:
- To keep any art and craft supplies, or sewing kits, all in one place
- For keepsakes, mementos, souvenirs, and other treasured items
Hinged Shoulder Box
A base and lid, which aren’t flushed together, joined on one hinged edge.

Flap Lid Box
A box with a lid attached to one side, which closes on the other side with a magnetic flap.
These boxes have a magnetic snap shut closure, but differ in where the lid is attached to the tray. They can both be used for the following:
- As food packaging, for example for boxes of chocolate, sweets, or drinks
- As favour packaging, for special events like weddings and baby showers
Wrap Lid Box
A box with a four-part lid which is attached under the tray, on the back, and folds over the top, and closes with a magnetic flap.
Shoulder Box
A lid and base box with an inner tray, and the lid and base meet when closed.
Shoulder boxes are great options for conveying that extra bit of luxury in a gift box, adding a striking two-tone design. They can have a variety of uses, including:
- As presentation boxes, for example for businesses to launch new products
- For brands to present corporate gifts, such as at company events or exhibitions
Exposed Shoulder Box
A lid and base with an inner tray, but the lid and base do not meet when closed.
A wrap lid box features a lid that goes all the way around the box, offering more protection if you’re looking to post items out to customers, such as part of a subscription box service.
